AC woes

Our air conditioner is on the fritz again. We noticed that the air from the vents was not cold, and the house seemed warm. I checked the thermostat and the temp was up to 79 degrees in the house. I went outside and the condenser wasn't running, but the top was extremely hot to the touch. So, my guess is that the motor is fried (motor is directly below the hot spot). We have a home warranty, so the most we'll have to pay is 75 bucks. This warranty has saved us a ton of money, and I highly recommend getting one. I think I'll renew it for next year (cost $300 bucks for the year, came w/our house purchase).

Glasses

I had an eye exam today. Turns out I'm far sighted and need glasses. They should be ready to pick up in 7-10 days. So, I'll be sporting a new look.

House Projects

Was trying to think of all of the projects I want to finish (or start) around the house:

• Fix the flooring in the kitchen
• Replace the water damaged siding near the garage door
• Replace the broken window on the shed
• Chop/stack the wood near the shed
• Wire the family room for rear surround sound speakers (bought wall plates + wire already)
• Fill the cracks in the driveway and apply sealer
• Get a load of mulch for under the swings
• Build shelves in the basement and get everything off of the floor
• Get a generator and wire it into the house
• Build horseshoe pits
• Replace the faucet in the master bedroom
• Get some pictures/art up in the master bedroom
• Get some more art/pictures/furniture for Isabel's room
• Put all of the toys that Isabel no longer uses into storage.
• Organize tools in basement
• Organize the shed
• Change oil on Riding and push mowers
• Change oil on car
• Buy used car
  

Baby shower day

Stacey had her baby shower today. I took Isabel to meet my dad at the mall while they had the party. Isabel played in the play area, we walked the mall, and we topped it off by sharing orange julius's. Grandpa treated isabel to a ride on the mini marry-go-round train ride.

We got back before the party was over and stuffed ourselves with party food. We got a ton of presents for the new guy, and some for Isabel as well. When everyone left, we spent the rest of the day playing outside and relaxing. Made some instant pudding for desert.
